Loudwolf sodium flouride is what it use. It's powder but all it needs is a digital scale and some rodi water.
How potent are you mixing it? Are you matching the Reef Moonshiners stuff or just going with what Randy linked?

It doesn’t say what the purity is, but it is probably ok. :)
Thank you! By the way i was going to use dropper bottle to store my sodium fluoride solution, and realized it should not be stored in glass bottles. I am not yet sure what the other moonshiner dosing solutions are composed of; are you aware of any other ones that definitely should not go into a glass container?

Thanks!

No, I’m not aware of other additives we use that are not good in glass, except possibly very strong hydroxide solutions (which I’m not aware of anyone using).

Matching moonshiners for ease of the calculator.
Awesome. How are you calculating it?

Looks like MS Flouride is 1000ppm maybe?

Does this look correct then?

Amount NaF = 1000mg/0.45 = 2222.22mg = 2.22g

So 2.22g into 1liter will make the solution 1000ppm matching MS Flouride?

@KStatefan Ya I wish I could understand how you guys are figuring this out. I really need MS Manganese concentration.

There are diy recipes for manganese:

I have seen these threads and appreciate the info. I have been dosing via Reef Moonshiners for quite awhile now. I guess what makes me worried about using those concentrations is I’m not really sure how that would translate with what I’ve been doing for awhile now. Is there anyway to figure out how to mix it to the same concentration RM is using? What info would you need?

Just calculate the concentration of theirs then match it

I’d need to know the moonshiner concentration, or how much does what.

Then one can make a matching solution, or just learn to use a different amount.’ Which seems pretty easy. lol

Oh thats very helpful. Thank you.

Now to figure out Manganese. Looks like Manganese Sulfate Monohydrate is all Loudwolf sells.
The manganese from loudwolf is 32% mang by weight i believe. I think RM is .26 ug/l and 1 gram of loudwolf per 1000ml rodi is .325? Again...not my area of expertise. Randy would.be the guy to confirm any of that

Am I reading this right? 1 mL of RM Manganese is 0.26ug/L in 100 gallons?

Yes. Now to make the concentration the same with loudwolf as a 32% mang by weight product. I'm not positive on the math of what to make the solution to match up with RM. This was a solution at 25% mang by weight but im not positive where that sits on being the same.
