Hello

There is lots and lots pictures of corals viewed from top. To have proper view you have to switch pumps off.
I have small Fluval Edge and I like the ability to look it through top glass. Tank is made the way that there is no air between top glass and water.
I have idea to silicone 2 glass pieces on top of the tank to prevent water going to that area. It will make maintenance a bit harder, but not anywhere that hard that it is with Fluval Edge.
Do anybody see this style before and any idea could this work?

I am a bit sceptic about this, cause it might look terrible. If I silicone it to place and afterwards want to remove it, silicone still might leave stains to glass.
Then I had a Heureka moment!
I will make open-top box that I can attach into place. It dont have to be under water more than half an inch so it basically floats. It will be a bit more visible, but I can remove it anytime I want.
Making of the box going to be a lot easier too, cause it can be done seperately.

And if this goes south I can use it as a frag track [emoji23]
