I recently upgraded to a 210g with a few more fish. I have a yellow tang, powder blue, blue hippo and a verminne tang. Plus some chromis and clowns and stuff. It's getting kinda expensive to feed the little frozen cubes and algae strips. What else can use to feed? I know they love the veggies so is there anything else I can feed as well? I use the the dr. Gs gut loaded and the cyclo. I would like to get into maybe making my own stuff. Any info would be great. Thank you

For algae for my tangs, I go to my local oriental market and buy nori (the algae used to make sushi). In my store it is located in the Japanese isle. For four bucks, I get approximately 25 sheets (ca 9" x 9") of algae.

As far as making your own “meaty†foods, search for “Eric Borneman’s Fish Food Recipe.†Realize this recipe makes a ton of food. In our local club, 8 to 12 people have gotten together to split the costs and food.
