Diy lighting

Anybody have experience with these kind of lights.

At 36W, the Par 38 bulb for $12 is a good deal. I have not seen such a wide selection of color spectrum available. If I didn’t have spare lights already, I would grab the white with
6000-6500 Kevin color spectrum.

Just a few comments, for what that's worth.. First they are lensed at 30 degrees which is quit narrow for aquarium use. Great for depth penetration though.
For like 24" wide aquariums the hanging height (light face to water line) should be around 36". That would give f/back coverage from the water line.
For one row.. Obviously multi row set ups are different.
30 degree lens at 36" has a spot size of 20"
10...4...10 roughly.

Second it is unlikely (for the better) that they run at 36 watts. It's more theoretical..
12 x "3w class" leds is 36 "watts".
Circuitry probably doesn't drive the leds at the full 3 watts. Possible but unlikely.
24 watts is a better "guess'..

I just came across these, anyone have a link for the gooseneck connector holder. Or some ideas how to hang these
