Hea i just finished making some DIY Liverock. just about 1 full 50 lb bag of portland.
I am letting it cure right now and will for about 3 weeks than i willput them in a tub of fresh water to rince them off and clean them.
After i will out it in my sump for them to become LIVE and i will be setting up a Tank System for my dad witch will have 7 tanks going from 5 gallons to 30 gallons but that can change:bigsmile:

I figured i would put in my 5 cents and tell you how i make it.
My Mix is
1 cup portland cement
1 1/2 - 2 cups of pie gravel
and 3 cups of sand
than i will poor in 2 cups of water tell it is like mud and form it in sand or go outside and make flat pieces.
when you DIY your own live rock ya it takes a long time but it is totaly worth it when you can make the shape you want.
