My neighbor was clearing out their garage and gave me 3 10 in filter bodies that had been used for home water filtration.

My question/idea is could I buy the needed filter media that fit the 10 inch canasters and add the DI to make a RO/DI system for my tank that I'm hoping to start on in the next few months?

S in first one, C in the next one, Ro next then add a DI at the end?

I don't see why I couldn't but is there any things I'm not thinking of that could back fire?
