Years ago they used to sell a lid that fit a 5 gal bucket for skimmer waste.
It had a fitting that accepted the feed from the skimmer discharge. There was a ball that would act as a float which would cause backpressure which stopped the flow when the bucket was full. There was also a vent which had a carbon cup to assist with the odor. I know there are fancy units out there that mimic the old school method but at a step cost. Does anyone know how to build the old-fashioned model I am sure it would be far less expensive and hold far more waste.
thank for any ideas.
