Diy stand suggestion

I would like to know what materiel to use for my new stand for my waterbox 25g am thinking of 3/4 or 1" marine grade i don't want to do a 2x4 frame show me your build or your idea

I used 3/4 Maple Cabinet plywood. Doesn't have to be Marine grade if you plan on using some sort of finish like Polyurethane or Polycrylic on the exterior once built.

I painted the inside of mine and stained and finished the outside with Helmsman Spar Urethane.

You don't need expensive marine grade plywood at all, the regular stuff will do.

Your tank doesn't look that large, you can use 3/4" plywood and build it like a cabinet.

You can use traditional joinery like rabbets and dados, but you can also do this with a simple Kreg jig/pocket hole jig. Don't believe those who say pocket holes are not strong enough, they are plenty strong when done right with glue. Here's a 75 gallon stand I made about 15 years ago out of 3/4" plywood from The BORG, and pocket hole screws. It's been fine for 15 years and still going

Nice thanks you all i will go with glue and screw i will use some wood filler to fill the screw hole and paint it white

It's more important to " carry" the load correctly than anything else. Make sure the load is resting on the vertical walls not on cross pieces. Should work out well.
