Thoes with Diy sump with glass baffles question? How did you set up your filter socks? Could you post some pictures please?

Easy peasy, get some acrylic and cut a fat 4 inch hole. I say fat just because. If you want glass, then 1/4 and have your glass guy cut a 4inch hole, same as drilling a tank really. Silicone it in and done. Look at a Fiji sump insert and "(WINK) DO NOT COPY (WINK)" their design.

You could also use one of those filter sock clip/holders that hang on the tank. I used those before and they work well.

Yeah. Hang on filter sock holder makes things easy moving forward. Cleaning sump, giving up on socks as I did over a decade ago. Never looked back.
On a newer tank they help big time. On an established tank cleaning socks gets old.
