Hello,

I am in the process of building a sump for my 90 gallon aquarium and need plans on building a sump using a 30 long tank. I am
not sure which protein skimmer to go with (suggestions needed) and also what return pump to use (suggestions needed as well). The
aquarium I purchased is an Aqueon aquarium with 1" inlet and 3/4" outlet drilled in the tank.

Since I am limited on space height in my stand...only 24" high, I am not sure which skimmer to go with. I was looking at the
CAD Lights skimmer which got some good reviews but I have seen that the Reef Octopus and Bubble Magus are good skimmers as well. Since this is my first tank with a sump I am open to suggestions as I have no clue what I am doing and no clue how to even plumb this
aquarium.

Any help would certainly be appreciated.

Glenn

Here are a couple images of my DIY build and DIY sump. I use a reef octopus skimmer, and have a viagrow 950gph pump connected to an SCWD going back up to the display.
