I've got a 110g running about a yr. tons of live rock. Crushed coral substrate. Had a huge algae issue. Turned off lights for a week and algae is gone. Before I introduce corals, I need to figure out the lighting. Will be softies and some LPS.

Will blue lights grow algae? Will have white lights on too. But if I leave blue on a few hrs after other lights go out, am I asking for trouble?
