Do Clown Gobies eat copepods?

frozen shrimp is ok? do you have to spot feed him, just got one today but is still probably getting settled in. thanks.

Ain't many fishes in the ocean that _won't_ eat copepods...

The clown goby I used to have would eat just about anything. Flake food, small pellets, frozen mysis... just about anything else that would drift past him.

Congrats on a cool new fish!

Mine eat most frozen foods. Brine shrimp is a favorite right now. But depends on size. Brine shrimp may me too big...

Everything eats copepods, but there are only a select few varieties that can depend on them as their primary food source (ie mandarins/dragonets, Leopard Wrasses) and they need lots of them (ie thousands per week). If you are using them as a supplement then that's one thing, but they definitely need other food. I would use LRS Reef Frenzy for starters and if that doesn't work then I would use the same but just add a drop of Kent's Garlic to it and that should at least induce feeding.
