Do clowns normally change sleep locations?

My clowns always sleep in the upper right corner, floating by the thermometer near the upper intake of my Biocube 32 (thought they were dead the first morning, lol). I got them I think the first week of March. As of yesterday they've been sleeping directly on the lower intake. I thought they were dead. They were completely still, "stuck" to the intake. I freaked out and grabbed their pellet container and shook it in front of the tank and they immediately swam off and over to the lid for food. I fed them a few pellets each and they swam around a bit and went back to their normal upper sleep location. They start their sleep location when my lights go to sunset, so fairly early in the day. They have been acting normal today- ate brine shrimp no problem. They look good- no discolorations or issues with their fins.

I lost a fan worm and a shrimp so I'm paranoid I think. My tests were normal (little low on calcium/mag and alk so I did a water change) and added a half dose of reef iodine (in case the shrimp died due to molt issue).

My clowns sleep on the bottom of the tank where the flow is the lowest. Fish are intelligent little guys. They know their needs and will do what best suits them. Don’t get paranoid as I’m sure your fish aren’t paranoid. They’ve just figured out what they like. With respects to the dead shrimp; clearly that could be many things but if your doing water changes with a good salt I wouldn’t worry about a lack of iodide.
