Hello all,

I have been reading about this and i have found differnt opinions. I have a mini britle stars infestation in my tank. It is ridiculous at this time i can see the little white legs even during the day all over the place, on top of everything, on the rocks and between corals, i looks like a britle star tank with corals in it. Is this too much and if so who eats them? If its not to bad well i guess ill keep them and start naming them.

I personally wouldn't worry about it. Clearly there is enough nutrients to support the population.

Are you feeding on a heavy side?

I wish I had to many!

Available food will control the population.

Also, people on here sell them to others to help get a population going......just a thought!

No, all i have is two small clowns and i dont feed them like a maniac and i also feed reef roids once a week but i feed less than whats recommended thats why i dont get how they keep multiplying.

Cool i guess im starting my own farm, im kind of new to all of this and it just bothers me to see all those little legs coming out of everything. But if its a good thing, then ill let them do their job.

Yesterday I moved some of my corals frags from the rack to the rocks and the bottom of one of the plug got around 10 of those mini britle stars. I said, how this things got here?

Thats what happens to me, ive seen them randomly on the glass of the tank and hanging from the plugs in the rack. Those guys are everywhere.

Thanks everyone for the responses, ill keep my weird pets.
