One thing I love about this hobby is you just never stop learning. So I installed a sterilizer over the winter to combat bacterial infections. It was highly successful and probably saved a few corals. Now the weather is heating up and I am struggling to keep water temps below 82. My first thought is to just shut off the sterilizer for the summer but that kind of worries me. I have fans blowing like crazy the tank is nowhere near sunlight. everything in the tank seems fine but for how long? What do you all think? Sterilizer off? Don't sweat it (hahaha)? Chiller? Other?

Same lol. I don’t have a chiller and it’s a huge pain in the butt. I run fans past my ac vents and over the tank during the day and have them shut off over night but I’m still getting like a 3 degree swing :/. I’ll be watching what others say because I’ve been thinking about a chiller too!
