Do people still keep Damselfish?

P6120412.jpeg

My daughter picked out whatever this little yellow and silver damsel is for her tank. Everything is pretty much pink, purple, or yellow, and it fit the theme perfectly.

I keep (or will be keeping) a lot of different damsels in my 240g.

Currently have all of the following either in the display or in quarantine:

3 Amblyglyphidodon ternatensis
1 Chromis atripectoralis
5 Chromis bicolor
5 Chromis retrofasciata
1 Chrysiptera brownriggii
1 Chrysiptera hemicyanea
1 Chrysiptera rex
1 Chrysiptera rollandi
1 Chrysiptera starcki
1 Chrysiptera talboti
1 Pomacentrus amboinensis
2 Pomacentrus smithi
1 Pomacentrus vaiuli
1 Stegastes leucostictus

Rollands and Princess (Vaiuli) for tax:

Yes. Damsels live in sps coral. Until you have a mature tank you likely won’t see the relationship they have with the tank, and how they each claim a little part of it. Until then, all they have is picking on each other, because they don’t have a home to live in.
