I stopped by a LFS that is shutting down and when talking with the owner, he mentioned he was giving away the rest of the fish as he needed to be out by July 1st. He was planning to flush whatever wasn’t gone, as he didn’t have a salt tank at home. All his freshwater tanks would be heading to his house, and he still have hundreds of fish.

I ended up taking what he had left and have ran up my QT system, wasn’t going to let them go down the drain…

I picked up:
3x azure damsels
3x stripped damsels
1x Niger trigger (3”)
1x yellow damsel
1x XL blue/green chromis we think, though it has faint vertical stripes.

There was a blenny that we couldn’t find, and a lunar wrasse that somehow got missed and I’m hoping to get a call to go pick it up today possibly.

Going to likely bring the damsels to another LFS after a few weeks of observation, or rehome locally. I’m not sure on the trigger, I’d like to keep it but don’t want to risk my clowns or introduce an aggressor to a mostly calm tank. Thoughts? He seems to have some attitude, he was recently attacking the bubbles from my air stone lol.

Current system is a 225 72x30x24.
1x Yellow Tang 4”
1x hippo 4”
1 Desjardins. 6”
1 firefish
2 clowns (old, have had for 14 years)
1 threadfin butterfly 4”
1 flame angel 2.5”
3 lyre tail anthias
1 chromis.

I’ll add some photos at some point. It was all very busy and rushed on Saturday evening to get everyone housed and happy.

Wow, this is a truly sad situation for the LFS. The trigger I do have concerns about is just because of their aggression.
