Do Toadstools Regain Shape after Cutting

I want to propagate my toadstool. However I was wondering if they will regain their shape if I cut them.

If I have toadstool cap and I quarter it, will it regrow and regain the cap shape over time?

Mine did pretty quickly in about a month it was round again. Put it somewhere low flow and it should attach pretty quickly.

They can and do but will take several months.
