It's night time. The lights are off or have turned to a dim blue. Everything in the aquarium seems to have slowed down. It is close to bed time. Do you interact with your reef tank after 10PM?

Yes, I would say quite a bit, I like to see how the fish go to their respective places, I always stay for about 30 minutes to see if something comes out of some coral, thanks to that habit one day I saw a crab that I had already had for 3 months without any problem go to eat my torch.

That's when I usually do major things like moving coral, special dosing, cleaning, I try and get close as possible to bed time so they can sleep it off, and usually after several hours after the lights are off they wake up super strong and wide open.

Since my sleeping schedule is trash and I’m up later, 10 o’clock is the beginning of the last segment of my light schedule where the tank winds down in twilight until finally going out at midnight. So yes, I’m usually feeding a cube of misys and watching the lps open up to feed. I love nighttime on the reef. Tonight around 10 o’clock I made my April tank update if you want to see what goes on on my reef at 10 check it out.

Gotta check to see if my shrimp or big emerald are up to no good. They are usually good citizens from what I SEE.

Sometimes. I’ve done a last minute water change or skimmer cup clean before on the weekend. Usually I’m heading to sleep at 10 though.
