So I must say right away I DO NOT have a Par Meter to properly test unfortunately.

But here is what I got ---

So I have the Ocean Revive S026s.
Lights hang 7 inches above the water surface. Tank depth is about 23 inches.

Wondering if you keep your blues at 100% as I am worried about scorching some sps at the top, but also worried about NOT having them up enough and NOT getting moy corals enough light.

Just wondering what you all keep your OR blue lights at and looking for a ball park idea (if that is even possible as I know every LED light company is different)

Thanks!

I use a $14 lux meter on the tanks. The lux par conversion of most every led I have seen at a 1:1 white blue ratio is very close to 60.

So 30,000 lux / 60 =500 par
A higher blue ratio = a higher conversion number according to D riddle(it also has less spectrum)

From many reliable folks the slight color differences are irrelevant for the most part.(8h mh or 20k MH grows same coral) So set the color to eye, (make tank look great) then set intensity with the lux meter.

That light is pretty powerful. you Par choices are up to you really.

Yah I def have a higher blue ratio -- no doubt about that.

and if you are saying that the light I have is pretty powerful, I am guessing I should not have any issues due to "inadequate lighting" or a "bad" light. So I def take away from that, that my lighting should be ok.

Also, do you have a link as to where you got that meter from? I would love to grab one ..

Absolutely correct. Very popular with regular good reviews here on R2R

Pretty much any of these. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=lux+meter

Milwaukee makes a submersible one too. https://www.amazon.com/Milwaukee-In...90210861&sr=8-1&keywords=waterproof+lux+meter
