Let's see here...
My Frostbite Clown and Midnight Clown are named The Ghost and The Darkness, respectively.
Turbo snail is called Turbo (is there really any other name choice to consider here?)
Fighting Conch is Jean-Conch Van Damme.

I am still trying to decide on a good name for my Fire Shrimp as well as my female Emerald Crab.

Might also consider giving my Mini-Maxi a name, but then again, I might not.

And I can't tell the differences between any of my Hermits, Trochus Snails, or Margarita Snails, so too bad.

Everything in my tank has names:
  • My pair of clowns is named George and Lucy. One of them died, but when I get another, it will be named Lucy too.
  • My ball of chaeto is named “the bush”
  • My Royal Gramma is Jasmine.
  • My firefish I used to have was Willie. I will hopefully get another Willie soon.
  • My Randall’s goby is Reggie, and his tiger pistol is shrimpkin.
  • My neon dotty back was Choncey.

Well let's see... there's fish, fish, fish, fish, fish, fish, fish, Dozer and Grumpy. Dozer's a pistol shrimp and Grumpy's his house mate. So far the others haven't gotten their names confused but I think that's because they all dress different.

i Have 20+ fish- they all have names. I won’t list then all bc they aren’t very clever but
Dog face puffer is Snoopy
Transitioning Emp Angel is Algernon
Hippo tang is Dory because... kids. We also have a Nemo.

I think it is only appropriate that u show us a picture of your dogface puffer. Come on, show us Snoopy. ;)

My kids name practically everything that’s alive in the tank. Fish, coral, even most of the cuc. They stopped at the cerith snails since there ended up being thousands of them.

All of our fish and some of the other critters have names in our tank. Tom and Nicole the clownfish pair (because the males are smaller than the females), Carol the yellow tang (because she or he was bought with a christmas present voucher), Benny the blennie, Prince the orchid dottyback, Elton the sixline wrasse, Jeff the starfish (Jefferson Starfish), Angus the coral banded shrimp.

Sandy the Diamond Back Goby (Spongebob!)

Henry and Bendel 2 Cromies (Gf named them after a purse company)

Jacqui's the cleaner shrimp (What else would anyone name a cleaner shrimp?!)

Mr. Crab is the emerald crab (Spongebob!)

Sophie and Jimmy the paired clowns (They love each other and look for each other in the tank if they get separated, once they find each other they retreat to their corner :D)

Scout the 6 line Wrasse(Checks every crevice of the tank looking for pest)

Shooter the Pistol (duh)

Ive had the same fish since day 1 of starting my reef tank 2 years ago. I credit that all to the LFS I got them from that quarantine their fish.

Fun thread to read! I also name my fish...as does my Granddaughter (4 years old now), so some of the names will likely grate like sandpaper. LOL

Regal tang (Dori)
Lightning maroon with fused pelvic fins (Nemo-yes, she was told the movie Nemo was a different species of clown fish, and she knew the movie Nemo had a bum pectoral fin, but at two (at the time), the bum pelvic fin was close enough, LOL)
Yellow tang (yup! also from the movie granddaughter loved) Bubbles
Okay...hopefully the annoying names that grate like one is petting hair in the wrong direction are over...LOL

I won't name all my fish here...too many but some favorite fish are listed below
I used to have a porcupine puffer called Puff Daddy.
Majestic Angel is Angel
Flame tail blenny is Flash
Two Engineer Gobies are Tweetle dee and Tweetal dumb
Mel (my 10 year old Melanuarus wrasse who passed this year - RIP Mel!)
Yellow wrasse is Glow stick
Carpenter's wrasse is Captain (Pronounced Cap-ee-ton)

Now...for your help!
New...still in copper - need names...suggestions please!

Emperor angel, very outgoing, almost feeding from my hand, but already a bit bossy with other fish even though he/she's still in juvenile colors.

Splendid pin tail wrasse, transitioning, also almost feeding from my hand

Red Headed Solon wrasse, adult coloring

The emperor angel could be Augustus, or if he’s starting to get aggressive, Caligula or Nero could be a better option.
You could name the pintail splenda or Benjamin.

Mel (my 10 year old Melanuarus wrasse who passed this year - RIP Mel!)

My Melanaurus Wrasse is named Mel too. Go figure. So Mel's legacy lives on.

My wife named our Flame Hawkfish Henry after the little chick in the Foghorn Leghorn cartoon that thought he was a chicken hawk.
