Do you QT your........?

Chaetomorpha? I am in need of some for my tank but nobody near me has any?

My LFS has some, can it be trusted?

Is just a brisk rinse in water enough?

Or do I need to throw it in the QT?

If you concerned at all I would run it under some tap for 30 sec to a minute and then you can dip in in some tank water with Iodine or even TMPCC to get rid of possiable nasties. Then you should be fine all depends on the quality of the LFS, if they have a lot of issues with nasties then take precautions......I think you should be fine with a little preventitive maintance and in to tank it goes....
