I have a restaurant job that is only open evenings so I have time all through the day to work on my tank so I probably don't do more on my days off than I do any other day.

I was going to get a water change ready but realized I was running low on my preferred salt! DOH! Got me thinking about aquarium related stuff and the weekends. So here's a question for today and tomorrow.

1. Do you reef more, less or the same on the weekends?

2. If MORE what types of stuff to you tend to do on the weekends?

I will clean powerheads and back glass, with small water change. Every other weekend.

I’m retired, but on weekends, actually on Sundays I make my RO/DI water which actually isn’t much much work, but since I live in a 2Nd Flet condo that does entail me dragging the brute can from the den to the kitchen and then filling up with 15 gallons, dragging over by the tank. I also keep on hand ten gals of fresh water at all times. And I emoty that into the brute can first and I then fill those up as well.
i will also do minor work such as cleaning the glass and just puttering around.
i don’t have a big tank so I just putz. I also do my water tests on Sunday during the winter. Summer is a different story

Because I have multiple tanks I am doing some type of maintenance everyday, however I usually do more maintenance on the weekends.

I work from home so I usually do smaller projects during the week and on weekend the major stuff. Moving corals, DIY projects power head cleanings. Cutting up food for the week.

maintenance on my tank, frag corals, place corals that are ready. So yes I do most of mine on the weekend. Then just sit back and enjoy!

I clean the glass and replace filter pads during the week. Unless I have company coming over, I do everything else on the weekends. This week it's bleeding over, though. I made water yesterday and was too tired to do the water change so I'll have to do that tonight after work.

I work from home so I end up doing my maintenance and stuff during the week and wandering around with other humans on the weekends. This was an interesting post and something I’ve never really thought of before :)
