I have a rock near the bottom of my tank that I think would be a good spot for a couple of zoas. It's attached to a much larger piece of my scape. I'm worried about zoas spreading too much onto it, but there's an almost vertical wall between the two. Would the zoas climb it and take over?

You can also frag them and trade/sell to your local fish store or reefing pals. Zoas are struggling in my tank while my lps and sps are doing great. I'm on here now trying to see what I'm doing wrong.

DO YOU USE A PAR METER WHEN PLACING NEW CORAL IN YOUR TANK?

  • Yes! I think it's important for the longterm health/growth of my coral.
