Does anyone auto drain their skimmer?

drilled an exact fit hole for drain tube into the top of an empty rox container to minimize odors.
Living on the edge,hoping for no overflows until I get the switch installed.

looks like a nice setup for drain. where did you get the pressure switch?

The pressure switch is included with the Avast locker.

Couldn't you set this up with a pump tied to an Apex and a pressure switch? Set it up so there's an emergency overflow cut off float. But below that you have the apex to pump out the gunk. If you are concerned about overflow. Program the apex to run only once per x amount of days (depending how fast you fill your holding tank.) Then if it overflows it'll pump out then refill and hit your emergency float?

I ended up controlling it with the apex (with alarms) and sending it out the main house drain, works great
