I fed my green hairy mushroom mysis shrimp yesterday and he closed up and ate it but ever since he’s looked like this, like his mouth is looking to kiss something. Does anyone know what the reason is for this? Bad or good? Still hungry??

Also notice the same for my mushrooms when I feed them. They look pretty puffy and happy so should be okay!

That just made me fluffy and happy lol. Thank you for the reply, I really like him so I was super worried.

P.s - Your mushroom is gorgeous. Did you buy it that size or grow it? If so, how long until it got to that size?

I love growing them out!

Here is my OG bounce, jawbreaker, and sunkist bounce (got all of them around a year ago ~Sept-Nov 2020):

The OG bounce was about dime size in that photo^

Same guys ~8 months after:

Today:
The sunkist naturally split itself into 3 mushrooms. It was one huge ~4-4.5'' before its mouth split into 3. OG still growing everyday. I feed reef roids (concentrated) once a week (if I remember)!

For size reference, the OG bounce and jawbreaker are a little over 3''.

Look I just got him the other day or Id give him a kiss, but I need at least dinner and some wine first..... I did notice that my temp went to 80.6 the other night. I'm slowly bringing it back down now so maybe he was ticked...

10-4 I know that my temp crept up to 80.6 but I didnt think my lights were too much. I have a single ai prime about 16-18" above the surface of the water and at peak its only about 70% and declines back down from there. I'll play around slowly with everything over the course of the next few weeks. Thanks for the info I really appreciate it.
