I’m really curious to see if he runs a tank and what lights he runs.

@Dana Riddle

Yes, I do have a reef aquarium, and am in the process of rebuilding it after a devastating power loss due to October's tropical storm. It looks barren in the photo, but there are approximately 60 corals growing out.
Since I have a Neptune Systems' APEX on the tank, and I was fortunate enough to be a beta-tester of the new SKY LED luminaires, that's what illuminating the tank.

We have the same background color!

If money and bulb changing wasn’t a factor in lights - you had all the resources and you needed a light for fastest coral growth. What would you pick?

A close up of one of my corals. I will post a build thread soon

Cool shot! I like that red! Looks like the inside of a volcano. I wanted to ask if you had any articles about growth rates differences from T5 vs LED vs Metal Halides

No, but I did some work with BuildMyLED years ago, and looked at Porites lobata growth rates under different LED spectra. Corals kept under the LED light with lots of violet and blue had the most growth, although it was staistically non-significant.
