hello guys, I have a 240 gallon and I have never done an actual water change since Aug 2017 except keeping the salinity level in check 0.023 sg . I have about 18 fishes from angels, tangs, chromis, damsel, anthias, clowns and some wrasses. I'm doing vodka dosing since Sept 2017. I know it's a no brainer that the skimmer pulls the nasties out because of carbon dosing, but do i need to add additives such as fuel? please add in your thoughts about this. thanks much!!

For fish only system I wouldn't worry about any trace elements. In fact I wouldn't worry in a reef tank either as long as you are using a reputable salt and 20 to 30% water change per month.
Anyways in fish only system like yours even without water changes I wouldnt.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
