So let’s start with everything, I have this tank that is like two months/ tree months old, it’s a 80l.
What are those whites doing at 7:00PM?The alkalinity is process of lowering.Alkalinity is a little on the high side. Also, I don't get your light scheduleWhat are those whites doing at 7:00PM?
So let’s start with everything, I have this tank that is like two months/ tree months old, it’s a 80l.
With tech specs I have:
Light: AI blade
Flow/ wave maker: Jebao smart 2.0/ MLW 5
And the rest of normal things like
A protein skimmer a heater and a water top up (the thing that replaces the water that is evaporating)
I don’t have any type of filter yet only using the skimmer
In life form I have:
Two clowns
Some like 5/6 torchus snails
And 3 of those who stay in the sand bed
Corals:
1- Duncan
1- Euphyllia
1- GSP
1- Zoa
The parameters are currently:
NO3 - 2,5/5 ( I am raising it)
Kh 8,9/9,3
Phosphates 0,17 (they are dropping week to week )
Salinity- 1026
Here’s a photo of all the tank, and the Zoa is on the lower right part
And here’s also a photo of the light
The light is at 10,5 cm from the water,The alkalinity is process of lowering.
The light schedule is the following:
- From 10:30 am to 11:30am the Royal blue and the Blue are at 100% and the Clear white is at 30% this until 5pm
- From 5pm to 6:30pm the Royal blue goes to 129% and the rest (Blue and Clear white) goes to 0%
- Until 8pm the Royal blue stays at 129% and from there lowers little by little until it reaches zero at 9:30 pm
The photo of the full tank was taken at 1:00 pm
I see now! That light blue line is your current time. The lighting schedule seems legit. The Grapevine, GSP and Duncan look good. I would move the Zoas up a bit. Your instinct is correct. The alkalinity is process of lowering.
