Yes. Freshwater evaporates while the salt stays behind

You will need to continually add RODI water to the tank as water evaporates in order to keep salinity stable.

If my salinity is low, I just add extra salt water when doing a water change, if too high, I add less and let the ATO do its thing to slowly bring the salinity down. Pretty basic actually without big swings

Just checked your tank thread. Looks like you have killed more livestock in a year than most do in a lifetime. You need to slow down man. You have a 10 gallon tank that you are just throwing things into. Take it slow. Do your research.
