I have Bird's Nest Coral, there is white on the end and I do not know if it is growing or bleaching. I placed it in my aquarium on Sunday. Therefore, it is a new addition. I have a 65 gallon Red Sea Aquarium. I have posted a few pictures.

Did it just turn white on the tips since you put it in or was it already white on tips

There was some white but it seems as if it is more. I will see what it looks like tomorrow. If I see more, I will test my water parameters and move it lower. It is in the middle of the tank.

Looks like a pink colored birds nest they usually like higher light but it may just be stressed or water parameters. Let me know how what you find out. Hopefully it recovers with no futher whitening

I agree that its probably growth on the tips.

Once those birdnest get established and comfortable in a tank they grow FAST. My Hyacinth has been in the tank a month and started as a frag with five tips and now has 16 tips.

Yeah, I agree with Lisa. When birds nests get going, often the tips are a far lighter color than the body of the coral. So I think that what you have there is a fast growing coral.
