May be sand grains. While these fish are susceptible to ich, view fish again tomorrow as Ich will increase and move in numbers each 24 hours and I hate to say but these fish are hit and miss and often eat, then shut down and IMO should not be sold. Bi-Color angel a little more sturdy

This is a bicolor angel? I have had him for over a year and a half. They seem to stay in the same place. It was there yesterday. And not sand grains I have reef-grade sand not fine sand. Maybe it’s multiplying as it’s possible there are slightly more and he’s twitching? Just noticed it.

Again, revisit fish tomorrow. On both sides, may be start of ich. This fish again is susceptible to protozoans

It is. That being said ich is something I have dealt with more than once with him/his tank. And I have previously dosed cooper in his home as a result. I’m not incredibly worried. There were less spots on the angel as in like two spots and I will continue to monitor.

Okay the spots disappeared and I haven’t seen any odd or weird behavior in a few days. I’m going to continue everything as normal and not worry. I prefer management and not worrying over everything else which to me is extreme and can stress a fish out more. I also removed the instigator which was the trigger who was stressing everyone out and nipping at fins. I mean how would you feel to get chased around and pulled out from your home? Probably not good! Which is why I try to avoid at all costs pulling them out and putting them in a tiny box. I’ve just accepted I will have ich in my tanks and I usually don’t have any issues and my reef has been like that for years. It’s also very probable it wasn’t ich at all and it was something else entirely as it was only really like 3 dots and it lingered for a bit and then was completely gone.

Fish are a lot like people in that stress can cause a ton of things to flare up and removing that stress the disease or whatever flared usually goes away or improves. I removed the instigator the trigger and peace was restored…I had also lost power for a bit at that time which didn’t help anyone.
