Does Your Clownfish Do This?

It’s a couple weeks into a 30 day quarantine. Eats a ton, swims around a ton but several times during the day and at night the fella flips upside down at the top of the tank and chills. When I approach he goes back to swimming around normally. It’s the weirdest thing. Scared me to death the first time I saw him like that. Thought he was dead. He’ll also stick his nose into the overflow drains and sits there.

Mine likes to hang around the top on his side too much. I have wondered lately if something is wrong but I think he likes being that way. My royal gramma sleeps all kinds of ways.

Clownfish are so weird! I had one that just let the flow blow him around the tank at night while he slept :rolleyes:

2 of my clowns also swim sideways at the top quite a bit.

Whenever i see these 'does your clownfish do this?' Or 'is my clownfish acting weird/ok?' The answer is always yes, whatever they are doing, in regards to behavior, is within their parameters of normal.
At this point, my clownfish could be sharing a latte with each other around an underwater fire and id still think it was normal clownfish behavior.
