I know that sounds like a silly question but every time my Copperband snaps at food there is an audible rattle for lack of a better description. It's audible several feet from the tank. I've noticed it the whole time since I acquired him about 9 months ago from @Humblefish. Did he do that when you had him Bobby?

The fish is fat and happy just never experienced this but have never kept a longer snouted butterfly before.

Yes, CBBs do this but can't say I've ever heard a Longnose do it. o_O CBBs also twitch when they get excited (usually associated with food); which is nerve racking when you QT because in the back of your mind you're wondering if parasites/worms (in the gills) are causing the twitching.
