He does this all day. Host the brain coral :) and then sleeps in his cave at night. But why does he bring these hermits and drop them off lol he doesn't harm them or eat them, he just picks them up and takes them to the forbidden cave. And they crawl back out a few minutes later. Any ideas on what or why he does this ?

Time to be serious. I would try getting empty shells and putting them by the cave. He may be trying to shore up the cave walls but his building supplies keep running away.
