My dogface puffer has become very lazy , he sits in tunnel under the live rock and seems very lethargic. I have placed half shell clams near him and he doesn't eat. His beak is fine , not overgrown , he doesn't seem skinny or anything. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? I have had him almost a year and half , never did this before

What does his diet consist of? Have you tried any live food?

I’ve had my porcupines do that every once in a while. Never lasted more than a day. I also fast mine once a week. I forget where I heard to do that as it was 20 years ago. But been doing it for that long. So it’s not gonna hurt him to miss a meal or two. Give him a day and see how he is tomorrow. If he’s still hiding coax him out and try to get a decent picture of him. Also check all water parameters.
