DOH!

Tonight while cutting existing pipe work to reroute and make room for my new UV, I somehow managed to completely miss a wire running along side and severed both pipe and cable. Luckily it was just an extension cable and not a main manufacture cable. Stupid on my part and definitely a “doh” moment.

Anyone else with similar doh moment experiences to share. Let’s learn from our mistakes lol.

Well, I was starting a tank and snatched an old powerhead that I haven't used in year to mix the saltwater. I notice the water wasn't moving, and did not unplug said powerhead before reaching my hand in the bucket to figure out what was wrong. It was shorted and a great reminder check out your old equipment before reuse.
