Dont even think about it!

Thanks for the info, its not listed on their website so I'll call them later. My bad, Big Al's told me during covid time they weren't allowed to import live rocks, so I took it to mean it wasn't allowed, but maybe it was just them. Doing some googling this morning, it is legal but apparently not easy.
CITES permits are expensive I think that company in B.C is the only one doing it I'm starting a new tank so I looked everywhere trying to find wild harvested live rock after seeing it's 20 bucks a pound now on JL. Worth it I guess though because that rock is gorgeous when you get it

"Indonesian Live Aquarium Rock | JLAquatics Canada – J&L Aquatics Ltd." https://jlaquatics.com/products/ind...AIV16iCN19gs1kpV7cmaSMQAUbtJ2SzE-Q-S4hSVXynai

This is what I bought

My dad's super frugal. Like, would drive 15 minutes back into town if he was overcharged by $5 😂 hes been talking about starting a reef tank but I told him "remember when i told you my chromis cost $15 and you freaked out at how expensive that was? Thats a cheap fish. Your not made for saltwater 😂"

he has a freshwater tank now lol
A couple months ago my wife was hemming and hawing about getting some fish for one of her freshwater tanks. She wanted 15 cherry tetras, but said they were expensive. I asked how much, she said they were like $14 each? I laughed and said let’s go, I’ll pay

Here they are, with a few embers tetras, staeck endlers, julii cories, and (not visible) an Ivanacara bimaculata… maybe something else too I can’t remember lol

Yea, he couldn't believe i was being serious when I told him the price of my new IM 200EXT I got coming 🤣

My best piece of advice is to not get a RS tank.
Yea, I always feel terrible when someone talks abiut the great deal they got on a redsea on marketplace 😶 like, I hope it works out for ya but... who wants to tell them?

This is JL aquatics Indonesian live rock after shipping from B.C to N.S in the middle of February back in 2020. I was impressed but it's some expensive 20 bucks a pound now and no free shipping. FedEx is expensive so expect to pay a lot if you ship it.

If you search ‘rock’ or ‘live rock’ in their search it comes up as Indonesian live rock. I think they have around 400lbs right now. I keep picking though and grabbing bits and pieces when I’m there.
