Towels. I have a towel for each tank at home and two more in the closet just for aquariums. I spill a lot.

turkey baster, dipping coral, feeding coral and fish, moving small amounts of water. Cleaning rocks, cleaning the sump, dusting off dead tissue, moving baby fish, sucking up leftovers, algae removal, dosing, what can’t a turkey baster do,

Arm and hammer baking soda. Never be without it. The other is vinegar. Of course lots of things as many others have mentioned, but these are two must haves.

There are so many things that are very useful to us as reef aquarium hobbyists! But there are certain items that many consider to be a MUST HAVE item if you're going to keep a saltwater aquarium in your house! These items range from aquarium equipment to cleaning supplies and will vary from person to person! So today let's put together a list!

What item do you you think every reefer shouldn't reef without?

What are the non-aquarium items that have proven to be very handy?

lol. I agree... I use what i can find pretty much =)
I have a marine battery inside a small tote with wheels, mount a voltage inverter on top and hook up a trickle charger/maintainer along side of inverter. I have a 1000 watt inverter but I think 600 would be sufficient. Have not tried it yet. The more batteries you have the longer it will last. Had it for almost 2 years and never had a power outage.
