Hi all
Would like to setup a DOS for auto water changes.

My salt tank is one flight below me in the basement.

Will the dos suck water up a level to do it?
Anyone tried this?

Probably about 12 feet vertical
With an additional 5 foot horizontal run

I think it’ll get the job done. I hope I’m not making this up but I think BRS has some DOS set up to do long distance water changes in some of their tanks.

Yeah. BRS has a video on how they set up their DOS W/C system. From what I saw on the video, you shouldn't have any problems. You might want to check it out.

Thanks team, I figure if I’m
Gonna still a hole in the floor
For ATO what the heck right? Might as well do an AWC and really cut down on maintenance

Any losses from the extra pull will be accounted for when you calibrate the unit.
