I'm a bit confused :)

I expected that if I go to a Doser channel and change the Daymode setting to 'in day intervals', set repeat interval to 1 and change to starting in 3 days, and then save the changes that the channel would not dose again until 3 days have passed.

I set this two days ago, and the dosing has continued each day rather than waiting for 3 days. Also the number shown as starting in 'x' days has not decremented each day.

What am I missing?

Graham.

The other way around will work Repeat every to 3 and starting in 1 days will make it dose every 3 day with start tomorrow. If you want to start today - starting on should be 0.

Hi Lasse,

Yes, but I want it to dose every day starting in 3 days, and it does not seem to work.
It just seems to ignore the 'starting in' entry, and does not count it down.

Thanks
Graham.

I don’t think that’s how that function works. It’s not a “delay” to when you want to start dosing but a delay between doses.

Yes, that's what this setting is for, but it doesn't work.
The GHL team is aware of this issue but I don't know when it will be fixed.

But I think that I have been using that setting before in earlier FW in order to delay the start of a cycle. But I usally use GCC. Is there any differences between the interfaces?

Parameters are stored in the profilux, it does not matter if they are defined with GCC or GHLConnect or the web interface

IMO - it could be difference between the interfaces in other cases. If I chose to save my settings to file in GCC (connected with TCP/IP or USB does not matter) - it takes minutes - doing the same in the web interface - it is done by 20 seconds

The same in GCC after 20 sec

Admittedly, backup and restore are slower with GCC than with GHLConnect but both do exactly the same thing.

You should be able to set the "starting in" option as well as the "Interval of Days".

From the manual:

Select the days of the week you want this pump to dose or set the dose intervals. For example, if you wish to dose every 3 days, select “In day-intervals” and then select “3” in “Repeat all”. The “Starting in” option can be used if you wish to delay the dose program by a certain number of days. 0 days means it will begin the same day. 1 day means it will begin the set program in 1 day.

Why repeat what I said? What is the point of your intervention? :-/

Maybe it's a language thing but you didn't say anything about the "starting in" option, which was the OP's question. You only mentioned the "interval of days".

The point of my intervention was to try to redirect the help to the question that the OP asked.

OK, to be honest I missed that as it was under the 'interval of days' heading; I humbly apologise.

I'm not going to comment on the fact that, as you say, it doesn't work! ;)

Hi,

Thanks everyone for looking at this.

If it doesn't work, at least it means I'm not crazy :)

It's a unusual but useful feature if you're trying to slowly drop a parameter, but if there are no plans to fix it, perhaps the developers should drop it from the UI to avoid confusion.
