Blessed Sunday reefers! Looking for inspiration and ideas from folks who use dosers and dosing containers with limited space. Attached is a pic of my Kamoer X1 with a gallon jug to dose kalkwasser into my 33 gallon system (display and sump). It only lasts 3 days but I will be upgrading to a 2 gallon. In addition, I will soon be dosing cal, alk and mag with dosers after having done it manually for years. All parts are currently on order.

I will be going on vacation at the end of this month and I’ve always set up a temporary dosing setup with some BRS 1.1 dosers and a timer in these situations.
Decided that this time the setup will be permanent with a better doser and no timer. I live in a 2 bedroom condo and space is at a premium. So Whaddya say reefers? Show me your creative, space saving setups. TIA

BRS does sell a 2.5” thick 1g “space saver” jug!

For 2-2.5g? Maybe a square format like a thoroughly cleaned kitty litter container?

Not sure how much space you have. I use 3 of these. I bought some extra flat caps from them to use instead of the spigots. Drilled a hole in the large cap for 1/4" tubing.

Space is always the issue. Smaller space, smaller containers, more frequent filling. I bought some 2 gallon Folinstall glass containers with lids and a wide mouth (amazon) for my A and B off Amazon. They are tall, and square so sit right up against one another takeing up less floor space under the tank. They sit perfectly next to my sump under that tank itself. I have simple plastic 1 gal milk containers for N03 and Po4 and a 1liter bottle for trace elements next to those.

The Kalk and topoff are the bigger issues. I'm dosing about a gallon of fully saturated Kalk and 1 gallon or more (this just jumped up after I added fans to stabilize my temps) gallon of top off a day. I built a stand next to my tank stand that is a little larger than a 10 gallon tank. That way I have a 10 gal tank on the bottom for topoff water and then above it is a shelf with my testing stuff etc. For Kalk I ended up with a 14 gallon tote. It got one 11 inches tall (maybe 12) and built a little sling with wheels. I slide it under a bed about 4 feet from the tank. A Kamoer dosing pump has no issues getting the fluid that distance to the tank. Since my top off has gone so crazy now I am looking at setting up another 14 gal tote for freshwater more permanently next to the Kalk.

When I went away for an extended period last fall I set up a 14 gallon tote in front of my tank. I put a Tunze Osmolator pump in that and the water level sensor in my 10 gallon top off tank. Worked like a charm and more than doubled my topoff capacity for my trip. Though that was temporary.
