Hope everyone is good this eve

In my 30 plus years I have never tried a dosing pump. Can I get a quick feedback if anyone is using 1 of these 3 I am thinking about and how you like it. Or if I am to old to learn this technology, which is possible and just stick to normal routine

Kamoer x1, I’ll need 3
Aqua medic evo 4
Bubble magus t01, or t02 - not sure the difference

Thanks

I decided to go with a dosing pump about 3 weeks ago. After talking to a number of people I decided to get a Jeboa DP-4 for about $65. A lot of people said they would eventually fail within 1-2 years. They also said they couldn't tell the difference between and Bubble Magus and others because they seem to be made in similar factories in China. This last point could be actually inaccurate but they do look similar. The Apex DOS was the only one with a stepper motor that has higher reliability. In summary, I did something I rarely do and I cheaped out for the near term. Eventually I see an Apex in my future.

I dose 3 part so I consider the fourth pump to be a hot spare. You calibrate each channel to ensure it doses the same amount. It has a manual mode used to prime the tubing. I set it up about 2 weeks ago and have been periodically checking to see if it is working as I set it up. I have it in my cabinet so the sound is not an issue at all. It saves me from my morning dosing routine and it also can split the dosing into smaller amounts during the day to theoretically make levels more stable.

Have I noticed a difference in the tank? Not really but it has not been set up long. It does make things better when I leave on a trip. I never wanted to rely on family members or pet sitters to dose the tank which is a plus for me. I imagine this feedback would be similar to what the Bubble Magus experience might be like.
