Dosing pump quality questions

I have a 4 pump wifi doser from Jeboa. i loved it because its ability to use my phone to set the numbers over wifi, and its only $80! but for some reason kalkwasser seems to be hard on it. the pump with kalk crapped out. so i moved it to a pump that was dosing trace. now after a couple months it seems its beating up that pump. so my question is, are all pumps created about the same as far as quality? like the kamoer 4 pump wifi is 400% more expensive, and red seas is too. are those pumps really 400% better quality or are they just charging for brand name?

If i shelled out $400 for a kamoer, will it last longer, and be better equipped to pump kalk?

I haven't used ether so speaking genericly ther will be a difference in quality and longevity roughly associated with price and manufacturer. And there's the question of what's cheaper to replace over time. If it was me, looking at the prices, I would buy a 2nd jaebo just for the alkalinity knowing I would be wearing out the pumps frequently.

For kalk I found a brs 50ml minute dosing pump on a digital timer was bullet proof. The 1ml a minute pump will work fine also but didn't deliver enough for my purpose.
I don't think any typical programmable dosing pump will hold up well dosing kalk.

I'm guessing that there may be some calcification developing in the line as time goes on. I would suggest running some white vinegar through the line every few cycles.

Think of it as descaling your coffee maker.

i mix all for reef and kalk dosing throughout a 24 hour period, so honestly a 1ml pump would work for me i believe. i dose about 350ml of kalk a day right now

Ya I was at 7000ml kalk a day. The timer I posted works well because I you can adjust the dose time down to the second.

All doser may crap out using kalk unless regularly cleaned.

My Jebao also stuck with dry mixed products, but with premix it has not failed in 4 years.
