Here are my tank parameters I have a 110.4 waterbox. Very light bioload. My question is with the Calcium and ALK. It seems like the higher my ALK gets the lower my Calc gets. Is this normal? Also, As I read the bottle of the Reef Pro Complete, is says 1mL should raise your Calc 12ppm or 7.5mL per every 25gals. So I was dosing 30mL and didn't see anything move with my Calc. SO I upped it to 60mL and the Calc moved from 350 to 390. Should I increase the dose even more?

link to what I dose. https://reefprostore.com/products/reef-pro-complete-ab

Also my Mag is all over the place not sure why that's happening.

Thanks for any input. Hopefully there is enough information. If not I can provide more.

The first thing I'd ask is what are you using for testing kits? It might be worth running a test (if you haven't already) with a different testing kit brand just to verify your testing results. I does alkalinity, calcium and magnesium separately just to be able to fine-tune my dosing to achieve the desired levels.

I’m using the Red Sea foundations test kit. I’ll have to pick up some hannah testers.

Or even just a different titration kit, ie: AF, Nyos, Salifert. Sometimes you'll see a variance even between two of the same testing kits.

Just to be clear, I'd dose more, but not necessarily a larger amount than last time if calcium rose significantly. Just keep dosing until it gets to the 420 ppm range, then monitor.
Rgr that! I split the dose into two separate doses. One in the morning and one in the evening, 70mL total.

OK, let's see what happens going forward. :)
So I got a Reasea 4 head doser and was dosing the exact amount I was manually, but now my Cal is at 500. I keep backing the dose down. Is something like this normal?

My Alk is moving between 8.7 and 9.5, and my Salinity is 1.025 (checked with a

Calc and ALk are tested with Red Sea Foundations test kit.
