Has anyone, or can you, add the dosing amount of acropower and tropic marin part C in the auto topoff? I’m just curious if it has been done so the tank would get a steady small dose when it kicks in. Do you think it would just dilute the solution to absolute nothing, fowl the water or maybe work with very little benefit.

Do you have part a and b on a dosing pump? Why not put the rest on there too
I have a Neptune dose that is dosing part A and B. I do not have a second doser and I don’t want to put it on my wife to add them every day for me while I’m gone for work.

About how much part C would be adequate in my 5gal top off?

It needs to be balanced to the alk and calcium dosing. TM and BRS give a recipe. I do not recall the exact ratios.

i went through this to dose nitrate when i couldn't get hold a level. i also use a DOS and my solution was to buy a cheap single head doser for that use. never hurts to have a back up doser anyway in case a head goes on your workhorse doser.

I use a cheap kamor X1 Bluetooth doser for my part C and it works great. I also belive with part C you can do manual dose weekly if not bi weekly and have the same benefits.

Yes, Part C (or the magnesium part of my DIY) need not be added every day.
