So I have started getting more heavily into the SPS and LPs corals. I am also running a co2 scrubber maintaining ph around 8.2. The tank is a 120 gallons roughly. I will add some pictures to show the type of coral I have but it is mainly a few acro's, birds nest, some random LPS and about 20-30 head of hammers and frog spawn.

I am trying to figure out if I am dosing appropriatley. For the last year I have been playing with dosing as it seems my corals are not taking up ca/alk in same amounts the most recent dosing ( ca and alk was not maintaining parameters when dosing equal parts these last few months)
I have been dosing 20 ml of ca and 25 ml of alk for the last 2 weeks. I rechecked and found my ca was still decreasing from 412 to 401 as of today. I upped my dosing of ca to 25ml. I also found that my alk has been increasing steadily from 9.07 to 9.63 (meter measures in ppm hence why two digits). I want to keep my alk a little be lower closer to the 8.5 range. I have decreased my alk dosing to 20ml for this week and recheck again. Does it seem like I am going the right direction? I have already done some bolus dosing last week as I found my cal dropped to 387 when I added some new frags.

You could try testing, then dont dose anything for 3 days. After 3 days test again and figure out the amount you need to dose to bring levels back up. Dose that, then divide by 3 and thats your daily dose.

Adjust as corals grow
