What species should I consider adding?

55 gallon

I have:
2 ocellaris clownfish
1 eibli angelfish
1 falco hawkfish

I have thought about most of the ORA suite of available dottybacks.
Maybe one of a neon, sunrise, splendid, etc.
Not sure if any of the available species would be a bad option in the absolute sense. The dottyback would be the smallest fish (maybe the male clown would be smaller).

I guess I could always get an orchid dotty

What are the dimensions of the tank? Do you have any full tank pictures? Having an idea of available fish real-estate helps.

Dottybacks, "in general", are aggressive and territorial fish. People say the Orchid Dottyback is the least aggressive, but that is like saying a habanero is less spicy than a Carolina Reaper. At the end of the day, you have two very spicy peppers.

If you don't mind the potential of an aggressive fish, then pick the dottyback that is the best looking to your eye, for me, that is the Orchid.

If having an aggressive fish is going to be a problem for you, then I would recommend something peaceful like a Citrin Goby.

I fear the hawkfish with any goby. I have kept a citron goby in the past and I do not feel comfortable adding one.

I have an orchid , he’s fine and not really aggressive. Provided he has his own area of the tank or cave which he has plenty of

I am certainly considering an orchid. I think other species can work out as well. The tank is fish only so I am not opposed to ripping apart the rock structure to catch a fish.

I like the look of the neon and splendid as well although they may get a bit large. (Granted, I have an eibli that can get quite big for a dwarf angel as well)
