I have a bicolor dotty. He seems to hide in the cave and travels the tank behind the rocks. Sometimes I see him chase other fish even my tangs but other than that he is cool.

Splendid dottybacks are beautiful and hardy. But in a 20g may be a bit aggressive to tankmates.

I had a Splendid years ago in a 54 corner. Beautiful fish but it was an absolute terror. Currently have an Orchid, Neon, and Electric and they’re model citizens compared to that Splendid.

If you are going to try a Dottyback an Orchid is the safest bet (not to be confused with the Purple).
