downsizing some tanks

I have a 12-13 gallon drop off tank (mini IQ-9) that I no longer want to run (will be looking to sell it) -- it has a citron goby and a court jester goby in it -

I have a 150 gallon mixed reef tank with tang, wrasses, chromic, etc and then a 30 gallon with just a clown pair, diamond goby, yellow goby and a fire shrimp

thinking the citron goes into the 150 gallon and the court jester goes into 30 gallon

Why not put both the court jester and the citron gobies in the 30? If it has enough rock for territories a 30g will support both those fish and its current inhabitants. Plus 2 fish going in together helps fend off bullying the new guy.

Hhmm that is a possibility. What about both in the big tank? I doubt the tangs, wrasses or chromis would pay any attention to gobies. Of course you may have trouble keeping track of them in a big tank.

yes worried about tracking them and ensuring they are eating -- but it is a big tank I would assume they would find food/eat when the plank feeds twice a day and then when I feed frozen brine -- not sure --

I need to get rid of some tanks - this drop down and a 15 gallon all in one -- but don't want to harm the fish when I move them

I hear ya. I was never good at keeping multiple tanks long term.
